Here’s a new editorial I shot for On the streets of Sydney recently, I’ve never seen a publishing turnaround this fast, gotta love the online medium! The whole shoot was concepted and organised by my talented friend and stylist, Genesis Mansilongan, whom as usual did an amazing job. When he first sent me the brief, I was immediately drawn to the backstory he came up for the shoot, so in his words below:

“Long overlooked, downtown Sydney is home to the exotic, ever-so-tasty food, cheap clothes and curiousities galore. The perfect setting for someone who is new in town. Chinatown, can’t get you off my mind…

Our downtown hero is a wanderer. He’s a modern Wizard of Oz story…not meant to be here but he is. He can’t quite grasp Sydney winter, nor can we. Smells, colours and sights are so unfamiliar to him that they almost feel like home. In this strange paradoxical comfort Chinatown has it’s final effect. Wanderer’s wonder.”

Well, didn’t that just set the mood? Now below are a few extra shots, 1 has made the final cut, others didn’t for one reason or another, but are still gorgeous images. Enjoy :)
