It would be impossible to talk about Lucinda‘s style without talking about her amazing apartment, which she bought a few years back, to be disciplined enough to have a mortgage at our age is more than impressive. And then to style it perfectly too!
I’m a bit of a hoarder despite what my Pinterest may lead you to believe and I’m messy too, I pile things everywhere, boxes, paper work, clothes, I have a constant floor-drobe. Stepping into Lucinda’s apartment is like stepping into a Pinterest board, I love how clean and simple it is, the white walls, the black furniture, the indoor greenery, it’s perfect.
Lucinda’s wardrobe reflects her interior style too, nearly all her pieces are in classic shades of black and white, always a simple cut, but always with an architectural feel or interesting detail.
Here’s my mini Q&A with Lucinda
On my dressing table: My bedroom is truly minimalist. It’s my all-white space for sleeping so I keep my bedside table clear except for a stack of novels and a scented soy candle. In my lounge room, I have a side table which collects things like silver rings, nail polish, graphic design annuals, pages ripped from magazines, skull-shaped things.
On my kitchen counter: Soda and tonic water, because there’s Hendrick’s for later.
On my work desk: My computer, and there’s just enough space for the latest issue of DANSK magazine.
On my playlist: I’m alternating between Nine Inch Nails and Queens Of The Stone Age, with Hesitation Marks particularly on repeat. I’m heading to the concert tonight with friends, it’s going to be good.
