I was walking around Soho yesterday and noticed that pretty much all of the shops have already moved onto their autumn winter stock. I mean, seriously? New York is going through a heatwave right now! I step outside for a minute and I’m sweating buckets and here they are trying to sell me sweaters.

As much I want to stick my head in the sand… and lie on a beach… The idea of layering up is always exciting and who doesn’t love a good coat anyway, so here are some from the streets of Milan to get you in the mood.

Some people are calling Tulum the Williamsburg of Mexico, I don’t know if that’s fair, set a hour and a half from mega resort town Cancun (which I hate…) and 45 minutes from party central Playa del Carmen, Tulum has its own thing going on, if anything it’s more hippie than hipster, it can be luxe if you want it, or low key if you want that. Gorgeous food, gorgeous cocktails on a long gorgeous stretch of beach with super fine white sand, what more could you want.
