Xssat is by Xiaohan Shen, fashion photographer, street style blogger and regular contributing photographer for Vogue.com.au. Born out of her love for photography and fashion in 2008, from its humble beginnings, Xssat has gone from strength to strength. More than 3 years on, Xiaohan has shot style setters Worldwide, from the side walks of London, New York, Paris, Sydney and more. Xssat is now Australia’s top street style blog and is Vogue.com.au’s regular street style photographer.

Xiaohan was interviewed by ABC’s Art Nation for its special fashion episode in April 2011, her street style work has been featured in numerous international and Australian publications, including Vogue Australia, Elle Korea, Russh Australia, Singapore Today and more. About Xiaohan Shen

Xiaohan Shen is a photographer, designer, blogger and dreamer. Raised in the longtangs of Shanghai, educated on the shores of Sydney, Xiaohan embeds a unique blend of east and west. This blend of cultures shaped her philosophy, outlook and style.

Born into a family of painters, writers and calligraphers, Xiaohan was bound to work in the creative field. At the age of 26, she is already into her second career, photography. Xiaohan studied graphic design and has worked as an art director at multiple international advertising agencies for over 5 years, all the while experimenting with photography on the side. After taking a year off to travel the world, Xiaohan realised her passion lies with photography.

A trained designer’s eye and a sensitive feminine perspective makes Xiaohan’s photography style special and highly sought after.
