Get The Look – Simple Glamour

This summer has been anything but predictable, so much so I got used to tucking a scarf into my bag when I leave the house, just in case the weather turns and starts raining. A simple summer look can be easily glammed up with a faux fur scarf! Everyone’s got a printed t-shirt and a few cotton skirts, so why not take an easy step up.

Get The Look – White Heat

It’s Friday, it’s warm and I’m launching a brand spanking new monthly feature! I’m so excited about this, I’ve had the idea for ages and it’s a natural extension to my favourite street style photos.

It’s not always possible to track down the exact clothing details of someone I photograph, plus for me, it’s more about interpreting the looks for yourself anyway. So “Get The Look” is all about me translating a look into actual garments and outfits, the works. With investment pieces at higher price points and instant buys at the affordable range, there’s something for everyone. This is just my recommendations, a guideline, have fun, take this as a spring board, style is a personal thing!

For the debut Get The Look, I have the perfect summer look! White lace dress with simple accessories. You can’t go past that. White is classic, lace is timeless. Go for a simple clean shape with interesting details or flowy skirts. Quality sandals and flats are must haves and essential for summer. Sunglasses, check! Oh but you must have a pop or two of colour. Fluro? Mmm yes, I got the memo!
