    the front tuck

Well, are you a fan? Have you been doing it for year? Or do you simply hate it?

I’ve been front tucking for maybe over a year now and I have to say, I’m a fan. I like it, it’s simple, it’s unisex, not too formal and just perfect for showing off your belt. I do it with blouses, shirts and even t-shirts.

    What do you think?

Sydney womens street fashion & style

I really like the entirely black outfit with this pop of green satchel. Works a treat and certainly brightens up this Sydney winter, it’s been raining a lot lately, the grey sky’s driving me nuts, it even made me get pink hair! :p

    gif monday xiaohan shen

To brighten up this gloomy Monday, I’ve used my own mug! I got a new hairdo over the weekend, dip dye in pink! I was actually trying to grow my hair out for the last 3 months, but every time my hair hits the bottom of my neck and I get the bad Asian hair syndrome, I freak out and go get it cut. Last week I was feeling so sick of my hair I decided to do something radical.

I’d be eyeing out the whole dip dye trend as something I’d like to try for upcoming shoots and editorials, but you know what, we should all take risks once in a while! So I called my hairdresser and explained what I wanted to do and he was really excited about it. I’ve been going to my hairdresser, Jorge, for a few years now, he is on the expensive side, but I’ve been happy with every single haircut. It’s also because I trust him that I would dare try this dip dye look and he did a fantastic job. When the pink dye got washed off and my hair got blown dry, I was just grinning from ear to ear!

Moral of the story: I should make crazy decisions more often and so should you!

Do you see a pattern here? I’m intrigued about this hair style, I’m not too sure how I feel about it, whether I like it or not, though these young men are rocking it! One thing is for sure, the top mop definitely caught my eye.

    Wayfarers - Brick Lane

A quickie oldie from the archives. This was shot nearly a year ago in Brick Lane London, both were wearing wayfarers. It’s a trend I didn’t pick up for a few more month and then Rayban brought out their new old wayfarers and now they are just bloody everywhere. I still like them though, I just wouldn’t splash out for the real thing, why? Because everyone has them!
