I was walking around Soho yesterday and noticed that pretty much all of the shops have already moved onto their autumn winter stock. I mean, seriously? New York is going through a heatwave right now! I step outside for a minute and I’m sweating buckets and here they are trying to sell me sweaters.

As much I want to stick my head in the sand… and lie on a beach… The idea of layering up is always exciting and who doesn’t love a good coat anyway, so here are some from the streets of Milan to get you in the mood.

“I usually dress a lot more tomboyish, but today I felt like throwing on a skirt cos it’s too hot for pants. I have two skirts and this is one of the two that I own.”

You have quite a lot of tattoos, can you tell me about them?

“Many of them are thirteen inspired tattoo, cos that’s my number I guess. On Friday the 13th, a lot of tattoo shops have a special for $13, so I have at least 10 thirteen inspired tattoos.”

“I just like comfortable clothes, anything that’s oversized, baggy, I just gravitate towards that. I usually wear sweatpants, leggings and any type of stretchy pants, drop crotch, harem pants, that’s all I wear.”

The bag, that’s really cute.

“The Moschino. I got it on sale! When I saw the Jeremy Scott collection I was like OMG, cos I loved McDonalds and fast food. I have a cheeseburger tattoo.”

“My favourite Tyler The Creator song is called Radicals, the message in the song is really inspiring and it’s basically telling people you can do whatever you want to do, don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. I have it upside down, so I can read one and right side up, so everyone else can read it too.”
