It was the last day of LMFF and I was wondering around the city after a morning of fashion business seminars (easily the highlight of LMFF), when I saw a familiar face walk towards me. No, of course I don’t know Christine, I know her face because she’s a street style star. So I stopped her, babbled on like a fan girl for 30 seconds and asked for her photo. She was very nice and gave me her time of the day. I made her cross the street with me, I took a million shots of her details, I mean, HELLO, look that Celine bracelet, the Balenciaga bag and the Haider Ackermann shoes, I HAD TO take photos!
I know I know, another all black look, but this look is divine! To be perfectly frank, I might not have asked Christine for photos if I didn’t recognise her. She was walking fast and black on black isn’t really my thing, but oh boy, am I glad I did recognise her! Each garment in this look has a twist, the sheen of the fabric, the cut out back of her shoe or quite literally, the twisted deconstructed skirt. It’s an outfit that needs more than a glance or two to be fully appreciated.
